Despite coming home empty handed, Mamelodi Sundowns arrived safely in Mzansi as they begin their preparations to turn things around in the CAF Champions League.
Sundowns’ suffered a 2-0 loss in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals against Al Ahly away in Egypt on Saturday.
However, the Brazilians are famously known for getting the job done in Pretoria, despite returning home with a negative aggregate scoreline.
Sundowns will host Al Ahly this coming Saturday at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium and after knocking the Egyptian side out of the quarter-finals last year, Head Coach Pitso Mosimane and his side will come out guns blazing, looking to do the same as in the last campaign.
