A former Mamelodi Sundowns Nigerian international winger has signed a deal in Bosnia in his latest move.
Following his departure from the Absa Premiership in 2018, after stints with Sundowns, Bidvest Wits and Ajax Cape Town respectively, Ejike Uzoenyi has been in the football wilderness in recent months.
However, the 31-year-old has finally made a return to professional football, after signing with Bosnia top tier club FK Zvijezda 09.
The Nigerian has signed a 15-month contract with the club.
Uzoenyi first came to South Africa in 2014, after being spotted by Sundowns while playing for Enugu Rangers of Nigeria, but he had an unsuccessful spell with the Brazilians which led to him joining Wits, and Ajax at a later stage, before leaving Mzansi.
