There’s been no official update yet from Mamelodi Sundowns on players likely to depart and make way for the new faces.

But the agent of one of the fringe players, Soumahoro Bangaly, has told the Siya crew there is no talk yet of his client leaving Chloorkop this season.
Bangaly, who joined Sundowns five years ago from ASEC Mimosas of the Ivory Coast, only managed just three appearances in all competitions, so his name being on the list of those who are expected to leave would not have come as a surprise.
Steven Kapelushnick, his agent, said there was no indication as things stand on whether the defender is part of the exodus.
The clear-out has been confirmed by joint head coach Manqoba Mnqgithi, who told journalists last month that even the new players (13 confirmed at the time) were not safe.
“As things stand, Bangaly will be staying at Sundowns this season. We have not had any contact with any interested parties,” explained Kapelushnick.
“The final decision, of course, rests with the technical team. If they feel a move away from the club is what is best for the player, then we will sit down and have a discussion. But for now there has been no talks about Bangaly leaving.”

With the window only closing at the end of November, there are still a few more weeks for Downs to trim down the squad, so things may change, especially because of developments at the club last week.
Brian Onyango has arrived on a three-year contract and the Kenyan defender may very well open the door for one or two departures, particularly Bangaly and Wayne Arendse, who is also surplus to requirements as the Siya crew has gathered.
