Starting XI: Aces v Chiefs

Telkom Knockout

Teams: Mpumalanga Black Aces v Kaizer Chiefs

Date: 24 October 2015

Venue: Mbombela United

Kaizer Chiefs and Mpumalanga Black Aces will lock horns in their Telkom Knockout quarterfinal tie this evening.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h00.

Steve Komphela's charges booked their spot in the last eight, after they secured an impressive 3-0 win over Platinum Stars, thanks to goals from Eric Mathoho, Siphelele Mthembu and George Maluleka.

Chiefs will be without the services of combative midfielder, Willard Katsande, as he serves a one-game suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card of the season.

Komphela also confirmed that goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, is fit and back in training, following his involvement with Bafana Bafana over the past two weeks.

Aces, meanwhile, needed a penalty shoot-out to see off Bloemfontein Celtic to secure their passage into the quarterfinal.

While, they came back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw with Platinum Stars in their league match on Wednesday evening.

In head-to-head cup statistics, the Amakhosi have recorded seven wins, while AmaZayoni have only picked up one victory.
