Starting XI: Eagles v FS Stars

Nedbank Cup
Teams: Super Eagles v Free State Stars
Date: 14 February 2018
Venue: Goble Park
Free State Stars will be looking to avoid an upset against neighbors Super Eagles in a Nedbank Cup last 32 clash on Wednesday night.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h00.
This fixture was supposed to have taken place on Saturday but was abandoned by the referee due to a waterlogged pitch after a heavy rainfall in Free State.
The two sides had no league commitments during this week and will still be mentally prepared to fight for a spot in the last 16.
Luc Eymael’s charges will want to show the NFD side who is the boss of town by trying to reach the next round and will be motivated by their 2-0 win over Baroka in their last league match.
Ea Lla Koto reached the last 16 of the competition last season but were dumped out by eventual finalists Orlando Pirates.
Meanwhile, Eagles are making their debut in the Nedbank Cup and will be eager to impress and catch the eye of potential suitors in the Premier League.
The National First Division side got to the last last 32 of the competition after beating fellow second tier side Black Leopards 3-0 in the preliminary round clash played back in December.
Eagles are not having the best of campaigns in the NFD as they are only three points above the relegation zone in the league standings.
