Nedbank Cup
Teams: Platinum Stars v Baroka FC
Date: 14 February 2018
Venue: Royal Bafokeng Stadium
Baroka FC will be looking to take advantage of the struggling Platinum Stars when the two sides lock horns in the Nedbank Cup last 32 at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday night.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.
The Limpopo-based side made a name for themselves as giant-killers in 2011 when they reached the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup while still campaigning in the Vodacom League (Now ABC Motsepe League), beating the likes of Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs along the way.
Head coach Kgoloko Thobejane was recently suspended by the club, and his assistant Donald Makhubedu will be in charge for tonight's encounter.
Meanwhile, Stars will have to get their priorities right as they sit at the bottom of the log with only one-third of fixtures remaining in the league.
Dikwena will be a little confident though after playing to a thrilling 3-3 draw with Chippa United in their last league match.
Here's how they line up:
Stars: 31. Mzimela, 2. Mere, 25. Mthethwa, 24. Mkhabela. 44. Gcaba, 20. Mpeta, 12. Masalesa, 6. Baloyi, 45. Norodien, 10. Phiri, 42. Koapeng.
