Teams: Kaizer Chiefs v Golden Arrows
Date: 11 February 2018
Venue: FNB Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs will host Golden Arrows in a Nedbank Cup last 32 round clash, at the FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 15h30.
Tensions will be high when the Amakhosi take to the field this afternoon, as they are yet to lift silverware since Steve Komphela took over as head coach almost three years ago.
The Glamour Boys are not having an impressive season in the league either and will be desperate to have a brilliant cup run to salvage their campaign, that is threatening to go barren once again.
Amakhosi have won the Nedbank Cup a record 13 times in different guises, and will be gunning for number 14 this time around.
Clinton Larsen’s charges endured mixed fortunes in the league, as their three-match unbeaten run came to an end when they lost 2-1 to AmaZulu last weekend in the KwaZulu-Natal derby.
The Durban-based side were close to reaching the final last season, as they were knocked out in the semi-finals and will want to go one step further this term and go all the way.
