Nedbank Cup Quarter-Final
Teams: Baroka v Black Leopards
Date: 14 March 2020
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Limpopo rivals Baroka FC and Black Leopards will fight it out for a place in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup Saturday afternoon at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The match will commence at 15h00.
Bakgaga’s route to the quarter-finals was a bumpy ride compared to that of Leopards. Dylan Kerr’s charges overcame Polokwane City in the last 32 before they needed a penalty shoot-out to knock out third-tier outfit Hungry Lions.
In comparison, Lidoda Duvha had a relatively easy ride to the quarter-finals after Alan Clark’s troops cruised to a 4-0 win over third-tier side North West University in the first round and dispatched another ABC Motsepe League side Amavarara 2-0 in the last 16.
Baroka hold an advantage coming into this afternoon's the clash, after they completed a league double over their neighbors Leopards already this season, which included a 2-0 win for Bakgaga over Lidoda Duvha last weekend in the league.
However, Leopards will want to avoid a hat-trick of defeats to their bitter rivals in the same season and will be gunning for revenge.
Here's how they line up:
Baroka: Chipezeze, Farmer, Kgoetyane, Kambala, Makume, Makgopa, Mosele, Mgaga, Patjie, Ngubane.
Subs: Dlamini, Mahangwahaya, Masiya, Selemela, Mbulu, Maloka, Phiri.
Leopards: Muleka, Mudau, Zulu, Douhadji, Gyimah, Matlaba, Abubakar, Bereng, Khutlang, Musonda, Mncwango.
Subs: Makinita, Katjiukua, Makgetlwa, Ngele, Ndlovu, Hlongwane, Ng'ambi.
