HT Analysis: Chiefs 0-0 SuperSport

Nedbank Cup

Half Time: Kaizer Chiefs 0-0 SuperSport United

Date: 12 April 2014

Venue: FNB Stadium

Despite playing the better football and being the superior side, Kaizer Chiefs entered the half time break in their Nedbank Cup quarterfinal match against SuperSport United at FNB stadium on Saturday locked at 0-0.

The opening 45 minutes saw Chiefs dominating matters and controlling the possession stakes.

Still, for all their dominance, chances on goal were few and far between as the Amakhosi lacked imagination in the final third.

SuperSport, on the other hand, offered very little in way of an attacking threat and only managed a few shots on goal in the closing stages of the half.

Chiefs were not much better and in terms of statistics they only had two shots on goal to United’s three.
