Stars, meanwhile, needed penalties to advance to the final as they defeated Chippa United 3-1 in the shoot-out after it ended goalless after 90 minutes.
Ea Lla Koto managed to give Eleazar Rodgers his debut in the first match, while Ricardo Ndiki was on the bench.
