Teams: Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila v SuperSport United
Date: 24 January 2021
Venue: Thohoyandou Stadium
Bottom-of-the-table Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila will be hoping to end an eight-match winless streak when SuperSport United visit Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
TTM have accumulated just one point from their last five Premiership fixtures, having registered three straight 1-1 draws in the latter stages of 2020.
They will be well aware that a victory against Matsatsantsa would potentially see them rise as high as 11th place in the Premiership standings.
However, they come into Sunday's clash without the services of two key first-team players in the shape of suspended duo Alfred Ndengane and Joseph Molangoane.
And, claiming maximum points will be no easy task as TTM can expect a stern test from a SuperSport outfit trailing the league's top two teams by just two points.
And, after extending their unbeaten run in the league to eight games with a 1-1 draw with AmaZulu in midweek, SuperSport will be keen to return to the winning trail.
Bradley Grobler and Thamsanqa Gabuza have scored all of SuperSport's goals between them in their last five games, netting four goals apiece to help propel the team to the upper reaches of the Premiership standings.
The match gets underway at 15h00.
