DStv Premiership
Teams: Mamelodi Sundowns v Swallows
Date: 23 January 2021
Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium
The DStv Premiership reaches boiling point this weekend as Mamelodi Sundowns and Swallows FC face off in a top-of-the-table clash at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
The sides have the same number of points (26), with Sundowns leading by virtue of a superior goal difference. Both teams, along with Golden Arrows, make up the three unbeaten sides in the DStv Premiership after 12 rounds.
The Brazilians and the Birds have the stingiest defences in the league this season, conceding just five and seven goals respectively.
Downs have played to successive 0-0 draws against SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic, the first time they have failed to win let alone score two games in a row this season.
The Birds, meanwhile, are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw with Chippa United and looked a bit fatigued in the second half. The Brazilians, with greater squad depth, could have an advantage for this tie.
Ruzaigh Gamildien scored his ninth goal for the season and his seventh in six games in the draw with the Chilli Boys, putting him in second place on the goalscoring charts.
And one goal behind Gamildien in the top goalscorers' list is Sundowns talisman Themba Zwane, with eight strikes to his name this season.
Here's how they line up:
