Starting XI: SuperSport v TP Mazembe

CAF Confederation Cup

Teams: SuperSport United v TP Mazembe

Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium

Date: 25 November 2017

SuperSport United will look to capitalise on their away goal in a 2-1 defeat in Lubumbashi as they host holders TP Mazembe in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 20h15.

SuperSport were thoroughly outplayed in the first leg, but a Sipho Mbule strike saw them leave the DR Congo with their hopes of African glory intact.

Matsatsantsa are chasing their first continental title, while their visitors are one of Africa’s most prestigious clubs.

A monumental task awaits Eric Tinkler’s side, but they have proven themselves capable of standing up to the continent’s best sides and digging themselves out of trouble on many occasions in this tournament.

They will look to Jeremy Brockie, the Confederation Cup’s top scorer with 10 goals, for inspiration.

Brockie played through jetlag in the first leg after joining the squad straight from New Zealand’s home and away World Cup qualifiers against Peru. He did not look his usual deadly self, but Mazembe will have to be wary of his threat this time.

Nine out of 13 previous second-leg hosts in CAF Confederation Cup finals have emerged victorious. With the nation very much behind their last hope of continental glory in 2017, Matsatsantsa will look to become the 10th in front of a passionate home crowd.

Here's how they line up:

SuperSport: SuperSport: Williams, Nhlapo, Mashamaite, Daniels, Modiba, Furman, Letsholonyane, Phala, Mbule, Grobler, Brockie.

Mazembe: Gbohouo, Kimwaki, Kiaku, Mpeko, Traore, Sinkala, Kabaso, Kouame, Kalaba, Adjei, Malango.
