HT Analysis: Chiefs v AS Vita

CAF Champions League

Score: Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 AS Vital

Date: 29 March 2014

Venue: FNB Stadium

Knowledge Musona's eighth minute strike gives Kaizer Chiefs a 1-0 lead over AS Vita going into the halftime break in their CAF Champions League second leg clash at the FNB Stadium.

The hosts certainly made their intentions clear from the get go, as they took an early lead thanks to Knowledge Musona's cool finish from close range.

Stuart Baxter's men pushed on for a second and were nearly rewarded in the 13th minute as Musona's close range effort was blocked Nguemba Lomboto.

Chiefs were however forced into making two first half changes wi both Reyaad Pieterse and Knowledge Musona coming off injured, with Brilliant Khuzwayo and Matthew Rusike replacing the injured pair.

The visitors on the other hand were over run in the midfield, and only threatened the Kaizer Chiefs goal on one occasion, as Nelson Muganga's long range free kick was brilliantly tipped over by Reyaad Pieterse.
