Absa Premiership
Teams: SuperSport United V Kaizer Chiefs
Date: 12 September 2015
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs will be looking for their second win of the Absa Premiership season when they travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday to face SuperSport United in a league match.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h00.
The Amakhosi are yet to register a win away from home in the league this season after playing to two draws against Chippa United (0-0) and Polokwane City (1-1) respectively.
Those two results combined with their 4-0 win over Free State Stars sees them on five points from their three league games.
SuperSport are also on five points from three games after drawing 0-0 with Jomo Cosmos in their last Absa Premiership encounter.
Matsatsantsa’s only victory was a slender 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in their first league match of the 2015/16 campaign which preceded a 1-1 draw against MP Black Aces.
In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Chiefs have met in 49 league matches since 1990.
Matsatsantsa have 19 wins compared to 17 for the Amakhosi, while 13 matches have been drawn.
SuperSport have won eight of their 24 home matches against Chiefs, suffering seven defeats in the process.
Last season the Glamour Boys won their home match 2-0 in Soweto, but Matsatsantsa replied in kind with a 2-0 victory in their home match.
