Platinum Stars will be out to return to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they visit Polokwane City on Wednesday evening at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.
 
Dikwena come into the encounter on back-to-back defeats in the league however they will be boosted by their achievements that took place over the in the CAF Confederation Cup.
 
The Phokeng-based side will now be gunning for maximum points in the league as another defeat could see them being dragged into the relegation fight. They are currently four points above the relegation play-off position albeit with two games in hand.
 
They are currently 11th on the log standings with 25 points only two points behind Orlando Pirates with two games in hand.
 
Polokwane City, meanwhile, have been relatively sloppy in the past month or so since they lost the services of Luc Eymael.
 
Rise and Shine drew 0-0 with Chippa United away after losing 1-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership.
 
The Polokwane-based team have dropped to right on the log standings with 28 points and are in danger of missing out on the top eight.
