The Phokeng-based side will now be gunning for maximum points in the league as another defeat could see them being dragged into the relegation fight. They are currently four points above the relegation play-off position albeit with two games in hand.

Polokwane City, meanwhile, have been relatively sloppy in the past month or so since they lost the services of Luc Eymael.

The Polokwane-based team have dropped to right on the log standings with 28 points and are in danger of missing out on the top eight.
