Starting XI: City V Pirates

Absa Premiership

Teams: Polokwane City v Orlando Pirates

Date: 22 September 2015

Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium

Orlando Pirates will look to get their Absa Premiership campaign back on track when they travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday to face Polokwane City in a league match.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.

The Buccaneers have not had the best start to the league season with only one win under their belt in four matches.

Their last outing saw them play to a 1-1 draw against MP Black Aces last Friday which sees Pirates in ninth place on the league table with four points.

Polokwane also have four points to their name after five games, but are placed 12th on the league table due to goal difference.

Rise and Shine come into this game off the back of a their second league defeat of the season when they went down 2-1 away to Ajax Cape Town on September 12.

In head-to-head stats, Polokwane and Pirates have met in four league matches since 2013/14.

The Buccaneers have three wins compared to one for Rise and Shine, while zero matches have been drawn.

Polokwane’s two home matches against Pirates have produced a 1-0 win and a 3-0 loss for them.

Last season Bucs did a league ‘double’ over Rise and Shine, winning 3-0 both in Limpopo and the return game in Soweto.
