Golden Arrows will be looking to upset Polokwane City in their drive to finish in the top eight when the sides clash in the Absa Premiership on Saturday afternoon at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The match is set to begin at 3:30pm.
Abafana Bes’thende will be looking to redeem themselves after they narrowly lost 1-0 against Orlando Pirates last weekend.
The defeat extended their winless run to three matches. Arrows’ last victory in the league was a 2-1 win over Highlands Park on 2 February this year.
Steve Komphela’s charges are lying tenth on the table with 25 points from 22 matches and are six points adrift of a top eight spot as the season reaches the final straight.
On the other hand, Rise and Shine will be looking to consolidate their top eight position as they are currently lying sixth on the log standings, with 33 points from 22 games.
They are undefeated in their last four matches, as their 3-1 victory over Baroka FC last weekend was followed by a 1-1 draw with Free State Stars in midweek.
Jozef Vukusic’s troops are six points behind third placed Cape Town City and have chance of at least chasing a third place finish on the table, which guarantees continental football.
When the sides met earlier in the season, they played to a 1-1 stalemate back in August 2018 in Durban.
