Starting XI: Polokwane v Chippa

Absa Premiership Starting XI: Polokwane City v Chippa United 12 May 2018

Absa Premiership

Teams: Polokwane City v Chippa United

Date: 12 May 2018

Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium

Polokwane City will be looking to secure their Absa Premiership status for another season when they host Chippa United.

Rise and Shine find themselves in 13th position on the table and will secure their safety with victory this afternoon.

Polokwane, however, have failed to win their last four league encounters, the last of which was a 0-0 draw with Free State Stars.

Chippa will look to maintain their top-eight spot, although even a draw would likely see them slip out the top-half of the table, with at least six teams below them mathematically capable of overtaking PE club.

The Chilli Boys head into the encounter on the back of a 1-1 draw with SuperSport United in their final home game.

When these two sides met earlier in the season, Rise and Shine registered a 1-0 win at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Here's how they line up:

Polokwane: 50. Ndlovu; 29. Semenya; 19. Ravhuhali; 4. Tshilo; 22. Mbonani; 20. Phiri; 14. Manaka; 8. J.Maluleke; 17. Ramagalela; 7. Booi; 25. W. Maluleke.

Subs: 40. Phali; 24. Hlongwane; 10. Tlolane ; 36. Miya ; 34. Sulumba; Vilakazi; 33. Sikhosana.

Chippa: 1. Akpeyi, 4. Macheke, 47. Nsabiyumva, 22. Modisane, 7. Mako, 23. Mntambo, 21. Rakhale, Macuphu, 27. Mabaso, 11. Mayambela, 6. Sali.

Subs: 29. Mhlongo, 32. Lentjies, 43. Mashego, Mbokoma, 20. Mdlinzo, 35. Bergman, 2. Okwuosa.
