The fight to avoid relegation heads to Limpopo as Polokwane City host Black Leopards on Sunday afternoon at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Rise and Shine boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation after edging Cape Town City 3-2 in their last league encounter two weeks ago.
Clinton Larsen’s charges got their first victory in six matches in the process after losing four of their previous five league matches before that, although Polokwane are still in danger of being relegated, as they lie second-from-bottom on the table.
Meanwhile, Leopards were in cup action just over a week ago as they advanced to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup after beating third-tier side Amavarara 2-0.
However, Alan Clark’s troops have relegation worries of their after the loss 1-0 to Orlando Pirates two weeks left the side third-from-bottom.
Rise and Shine won the reverse fixture between the sides 1-0 in the first game of the season thanks to a goal by Sibusiso Mbonani at Thohoyandou Stadium.
