Starting XI: Polokwane v AmaZulu
Absa Premiership Starting XI: Polokwane City v AmaZulu 27 January 2018
Teams: Polokwane City v AmaZulu
Date: 27 January 2018
Venue: Old Peter Mokaba Stadium
Two sides hovering just clear of the scrap at the foot of the table, will face off in a Saturday afternoon Absa Premiership clash. Polokwane City play host to AmaZulu at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
A stoppage time strike from Puleng Tlolane rescued a point for Polokwane City in their last match, against SuperSport United. AmaZulu also come into the game off the back of a draw, having played to a 0-0 stalemate with Bloemfontein Celtic.
Rise and Shine have held their own against some tough opposition recently, but haven’t always picked up the points to show for their efforts.
Nevertheless, having emerged from challenging games against Sundowns, Chiefs, Pirates and SuperSport with a total of five points since the new year, Bernard Molekwa should be quietly confident of taking all three at home in this one.
However, AmaZulu are also in decent form and have picked up four points in their last two games, after losing their first two in 2018. They will be hungry to capitalise on their newfound resurgence and put some daylight between themselves and the relegation struggle.
Here's how they line up:
Polokwane: 1. Chigova, 3. Tshehla, 19. Ravhuhali, 22. Mbonani, 4. Tshilo, 21. Seabi, 29. Musona, 17. Ramagalela, 8. J. Maluleke, 25. W. Maluleke, 16. Mngomezulu.
AmaZulu: 28. S. Mbatha, 17, M. Gumede, 29. Mabiliso, 25. P. Gumede, 13. Ouro-Akoriko, 6. Ncube, 4. Morton, 14. Mnguni, 8. Ncobeni, 23. Karuru, 18. Abraw.
