Platinum Stars and Free State Stars will both be eyeing their first win of the new season when they lock horns in an Absa Premiership clash at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday night.
The ‘Battle of the Stars’ is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.
Dikwena got their campaign off to a bad start on the weekend, losing 2-0 to PSL new boys Chippa United, and will be hoping to recover with a win against the Free State based outfit.
Ea Lla Koto will also be searching for their first win of the season having lost 0-1 to Kaizer Chiefs in their opening fixture.
They also lost their newly acquired Burkina Faso goalkeeper, Daouda Diakite, who limped out of the match with an injury.
The Bethlehem outfit are under a new coach, Tom Saintfiet, and tonight’s clash in Rustenburg will be his second league game in charge, while Allan Freese enters his second season in charge of Dikwena.
Last season Dikwena got the better of Ea Lla Koto winning the second round fixture 1-0, after they had played a goalless draw in the first round match.
