Absa Premiership

Teams: Platinum Stars v Bloemfontein Celtic

Platinum Stars welcome an in-form Bloemfontein Celtic side to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium with hopes of moving away from the foot of the table.

Roger De Sa hasn’t had much luck since taking over an already-struggling Stars team, having only managed one victory in 10 league outings.

This disappointing statistic sees the Rustenburg outfit occupying the bottom spot of the log, a place they will want to move away from.

Dikwena have an opportunity to move away from the bottom if they beat Siwelele tonight, with a win taking them above second-from-bottom Bidvest Wits.

Standing in their way is a resurgent Celtic team who have the incentive of going joint top of the log with victory over Stars.

Siwelele will be buoyed by their hard-earned Telkom Knockout Final appearance and will be looking to continue the good form that sees them currently occupying fifth place on the log standings.

Victory tonight will take Veselin Jelusic’s men to second spot on the log, with a goal difference, separating them and leaders Baroka FC who drew 1-1 away to Cape Town City last night.
