Teams: Mamelodi Sundowns v Bloemfontein Celtic
Date: 19 February 2020
Venue: Loftus Versfeld
Mamelodi Sundowns will have chance to cut Kaizer Chiefs' lead at the top of the Absa Premiership when they host Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday evening.
The Brazilians kept their title chances alive with back-to-back league victories after thrashing Chippa United 3-0 last Saturday, but they sit third in the standings after Orlando Pirates defeated Black Leopards on Sunday.
Chiefs’ loss to Maritzburg United over the weekend has given Masandawana a big opportunity to close the gap between the sides to just four points.
Meanwhile, Siwelele are winless in their last three Absa Premiership matches and will be looking to bounce back after a 2-0 defeat to Highlands Park last Saturday.
As a result, Celtic dropped out of the top eight and find themselves in 10th spot, although victory this evening would see the side move to within a point of eighth-placed Highlands Park.
Sundowns have already beaten Phunya Sele Sele twice this season with a 3-1 win in the MTN8 quarter-finals and a 2-1 triumph in the league just over a week later.
Here's how they line up:
