Absa Premiership
Teams: Mamelodi Sundowns v Baroka FC
Date: 05 December 2017
Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium
Pitso Mosimane’s Mamelodi Sundowns are gearing up to take on Kgoloko Thobejane’s log-leading Baroka FC, in an Absa Premiership match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
High-flying Baroka have had a their good start to the season somewhat halted after failing to claim maximum points in their last five matches, drawing four and losing one.
Fortunately for the men from Limpopo, draws have been the order of the day in the league, thus they still find themselves top of the standings despite all their draws.
Thobejane’s men have been playing an entertaining brand of football but unfortunately have been unable to convert good display of football, to good results and will be looking to bounce back to winning ways today.
Sundowns, on the other end, have had just one draw in their nine games and in their last five, drew one, lost two while claiming two victories against Gauteng giants Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits.
Masandawana will be aiming to continue their surge up the log with victory that will tie them on points with their visitors, who lead the standings.
Considering the exciting football that both these teams have shown they can display, we are expecting an entertaining match with the potential of some much needed goals.
