Amakhosi claimed a morale-boosting 4-0 victory over Zimamoto in midweek in the first-leg encounter of the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round.
Giovanni Solinas' charges were coming off an energy sapping 2-1 defeat to arch-rivals Orlando Pirates over the weekend in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals and will want to keep momentum in the league during the festive period.
The Glamour Boys last played to a goalless draw against Chippa United in the Absa Premiership on November 10 and will be desperate to climb the ladder. They are currently lying sixth on the standings with 18 points from 13 matches.
On the other hand, Abafana Bes'thende coach Clinton Larsen will be worried about his side's lack of competitive action compared to Chiefs although his charges could be fresher after last playing a league match on November 10.
The result was not a pleasing one as they lost to Baroka FC 2-1 at home. The defeat ended Arrows' five-game unbeaten run in the league.
The Durban-based side are placed 11th on the table with 12 points from as many games and another defeat could drag them into the relegation zone.
