Golden Arrows will be in danger of being dragged into a relegation scrape, when they host Bidvest Wits in the Absa Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Clinton Larsen’s charges went down to a 3-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs, in the Nedbank Cup last 32 clash last Saturday and will be desperate to make a come back.
The Durban-based side also lost the KwaZulu-Natal derby 2-1 to AmaZulu, prior to their loss to Amakhosi. They sit 12th on the log with 23 points from 20 games, only two points above the relegation play-off spot.
The Clever Boys are unbeaten in the league this year, although they tasted defeat when they went down 1-0 to Cape Town City in the Nedbank Cup last 32.
Gavin Hunt’s troops have been flexing their muscles in the CAF Champions League preliminary round, as they defeated Mauritian champions Pamplemousses 2-0 in the first-leg clash last weekend.
The Braamfontein outfit drew 1-1 with Kaizer Chiefs in their last league game and are placed third-from-bottom in the standings with 22 points from 20 matches.
