Starting XI: FS Stars v Sundowns
Teams: Free State Stars v Mamelodi Sundowns
Date:16 April 2017
Venue: James Motlatsi Stadium
Free State Stars will look to move away from the relegation zone when they host a rejuvenated Mamelodi Sundowns outfit in an Absa Premiership encounter on Sunday afternoon.
The home side occupy 14th position on the table with 22 points garnered from a possible 69, which includes a dismal form guide of three losses and a draw in their last five league games.
The Bethlehem based-outfit's chances of survival in the top-flight were handed a blow when they were condemned to a 2-1 loss by fellow relegation-candidates in their most recent fixture.
Masandawana are still firmly in contention to retain their Absa Premiership title as they occupy fourth spot on the table with 38 points - five points behind table-toppers Cape Town City, however Pitso Mosimane's charges have three games in-hand.
Sundowns put an end to their five-game consecutive winless streak in the league with an emphatic 5-0 victory against cross-town rivals SuperSport United in the Tshwane Derby in their most recent clash.
Mosimane will be hoping to maintain his undefeated record against the QwaQwa-based side - having recorded nine wins and a draw from the ten games against Stars.
Here's how they line-up:
