Giovanni Solinas’ troops threw a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Bloemfontein Celtic in their last league encounter two weeks ago.

The Glamour Boys are lying fourth from bottom with four points from five matches which is their worst start to a league campaign.

Solinas’ men were also knocked out of the MTN8 semi-finals by SuperSport United just before the international break, after losing 1-0 in the second leg at FNB Stadium.

The Soweto giants will be without the services of defender Erick Mathoho, although new signing Mario Booysens has been included in the squad.

On the other hand, Benni McCarthy’s charges are also coming from a 2-2 draw with Free State Stars in their last league outing before the international break with Craig Martin netting a last gasp equaliser to salvage a point for the Mother City side in Bethlehem.

City will be highly confident after overcoming Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final just before the FIFA break to reach the final for the second successive season.

McCarthy’s men are lying seventh on the Absa Premiership log with five points from four matches.
