After Highlands Park lost away to Free State Stars on Saturday evening, Celtic and Mamelodi Sundowns are now the only unbeaten sides.

And with Bidvest Wits going down on Friday, Siwelele can move ahead of Orlando Pirates at the top of the table with a win over the Pietermaritzburg side.

It’s a team that’s there for the taking and Steve Komphela will back his charges to make the most of this opportunity to move to the summit.

It will be interesting to see what sort of bearing the off-field factors with players going on strike again for unpaid salaries will have on their performance this afternoon.

Though with no injuries or suspensions, the Free State outfit have thus far shown their aim to please the South African masses hence their top-two standing right now.

The Team of Choice are the only side now without a win though having played only four matches to date.

Fadlu Davids will need to get the ball rolling for them in earnest as the sides in and around them are picking up points gradually and creating some sort of gap.

It’s not going to be easy task in Mangaung given how the corresponding fixture last season saw them go down 1-0.
