Absa Premiership

Teams: Bidvest Wits v Kaizer Chiefs

Date: 03 February 2018

Venue: Bidvest Stadium

Bidvest Wits will test Kaizer Chiefs’ title credentials, when the two clash in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Clever Boys are steadily improving after they thrashed SuperSport United 4-1 last weekend to boost their survival hopes.

Gavin Hunt’s charges are unbeaten in the new year and will be searching for their fifth win in 2018, when they host desperate Amakhosi.

The Braamfontein-based side have given themselves breathing space away from the drop zone, as they now lie 13th on the table with 21 points from 19 games.

Steve Komphela’s troops will have to start firing on all cylinders if they are to successfully chase Mamelodi Sundowns, at the top of the table.

They failed to close the gap between them and the Brazilians, when they were held to a goalless draw by the Brazilians last weekend.

The Glamour Boys are eight points behind rivals Sundowns, who narrowly beat second placed Cape Town City 1-0 on Friday night.

Here's how they line up:

Subs: 16. Josephs, 8. Monare, .9. Rodgers, 12. Pule, 17. Mhango, 30. Motshwari, 37. Mncwango.

Majoro cut their long tail off. Their fans are calling him a cow. I think they realise now how its painful to concede a goal from a player you undermine.
