Absa Premiership
Teams: Bidvest Wits v Free State Stars
Date: 16 April 2016
Venue: Bidvest Stadium
Bidvest Wits will be hoping to stay on the heels of Mamelodi Sundowns with a win when they host Free State Stars at the Bidvest Stadium in what promises to be a tightly contested Absa Premiership encounter.
The hosts will be silently confident heading into the clash as they seem to be grinding out results in a crucial part of the season, this coming after they have managed to secure three successive league victories, Orlando Pirates being one of the victims.
The Students are sitting in second place on the league standings, with 51 points from their outings. Whilst their counterparts, Free State Stars, find themselves in eighth position with 32 points from the same number of matches.
Stars have, however, been impressive against Gavin Hunt’s men as they won the first round fixture by a slender 1-0 margin. Last season also saw the Free State outfit win one and draw one in the two clashes between the two sides.
Here is how they line up:
Wits: 16. Josephs, 2. Allie, 29. Khumalo, 15. Mkhwanazi, 20. Nhlapo, 7. Klate, 12. Hlanti, 30. Motshwari, 41. Ntshangase, 10. Vilakazi, 19. Botes.
