Absa Premiership
Teams: Baroka FC v Free State Stars
Date: 26 September 2018
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Baroka FC and Free State Stars will do battle in the only Absa Premiership clash of the week this evening at the Peter Mokaba Stadium
The match will start at 19h30.
Bakgaga are not having the best of starts in the league this season compared to their blitz opening of the campaign last term where they were among the leaders in the first ten games or so.
The Limpopo-based side extended their winless run to five matches after they went down 2-1 to Orlando Pirates over the weekend.
New coach Wedson Nyirenda will be under pressure to produce results as Bakgaga are now languishing second from bottom on the table with five points from seven games.
However, the log is so congested that victory over Stars will see them get into the top half of the table.
Meanwhile, Ea Lla Koto snapped out of their four-match winless run after grinding out a 1-0 win over Highlands Park this past Saturday.
The victory took the Bethlehem side into tenth in the standings with seven points from seven matches.
When the two sides met last season in the league Baroka won 1-0 at home in the first round and Stars got their revenge winning 2-0 in the return fixture.
