Absa Premiership
Teams: AmaZulu v Bloemfontein Celtic
Date: 06 December 2017
Venue: King Zwelithini Stadium
Bloemfontein Celtic will look to recover from their Telkom Knockout final heartbreak when they visit AmaZulu at the King Zwelithini Stadium in a Wednesday Absa Premiership clash.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.
Celtic went down 1-0 to Bidvest Wits in Durban on Saturday, missing out on a chance to claim some early season silverware.
However, they have had a decent start to the league season, picking up 16 points from 11 games.
They visit a side that sits just two points behind them and have not tasted defeat in their last four league encounters.
Veselin Jelušić’s team are looking to avoid yet another Durban defeat, but Usuthu will be a stern test for Siwelele.
Early indications suggest that this clash could play a role in shaping the top eight at the end of the season. Celtic are the more prestigious of the two sides, but the form guide favours AmaZulu.
Here's how they line up:
AmaZulu: 31. B. Pule, 13. Ouro-Akoriko, 17. M. Gumede, 36. Mtsweni, 24. Sikhakhane, 4. Morton, 6. Ncube, 14. Mnguni, 12. S. Dlamini, 9. Cele, 16. Manzini.
Celtic: 30. Tignyemb, 3. Pfumbidzai, 22. Rikhotso, 27. Ndengane, 11. Jembula, 26. Lubisi, 33. Motshegwa, 35. Baloyi, 7. Hotto, 17. Mabasa, 8. Phalane.
