Absa Premiership
Teams: Platinum Stars v MP Black Aces
Date: 20 March 2016
Venue: Royal Bafokeng stadium
Platinum Stars will host MP Black Aces in a highly anticipated Absa Premiership clash at the Royal Bafokeng stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 15h30.
Platinum Stars currently occupy third place on the league table with 40 points from 22 matches, eight points behind second placed Bidvest Wits.
Dikwena will be coming into this match full of confidence after beating Ajax Cape Town 3-0 in their last league outing on March 13.
Aces, though, will not be an easy team to beat as they will be looking to end a six match winless streak.
The Mpumalanga outfit’s last outing saw them play to a 1-1 draw against the University of Pretoria which sees them occupying fifth place with 37 points.
In head-to-head stats, Aces and Stars have met in nine league matches since 2009/10.
Dikwena have three wins compared to one for AmaZayoni, while five matches have been drawn.
When the teams met earlier this season they played to a 2-2 draw in Mpumalanga.
Here is how they line-up.
Platinum Stars: Mzimela, Nhlapo, Sithole, Tshabalala, Mere, Mathe, Mabena, Msomi, Zongo, Segolela, Ntuli.
MP Black Aces: Mabokgwane, Nonyane, Mzava, Hendricks, Nodada, Khuboni, Modiba, Masina, Moon, Ngoma, Mbesuma.
