2015 African Cup Of Nations
Group A
Teams: Congo V Burkina Faso
Date: 25 January 2015
Venue: Ebebiyin Stadium
A win for Congo Gabon will see them qualify for the knockout stages of the 2015 African Cup of Nations when they take on Burkina Faso in a Group A match at the Ebebiyin Stadium on Sunday.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 20h00.
Congo currently top Group A with four points after drawing 1-1 with Equatorial Guinea in their opening game and then beating Gabon 1-0 thanks to a goal from captain Prince Oniangue.
Burkina Faso, on the other hand, occupy last place in the group with one points after losing 2-0 to Gabon in their opening game, followed by a 0-0 draw against Equatorial Guinea.
A win for Congo will guarantee them a spot in the quarterfinals, but a win may be good enough if the other Group A match between Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, kicking off at the same time, ends in a draw or if Gabon win.
For Burkina Faso nothing but a comprehensive win combined with favourable result in the other group game with see them qualify.
Statistically, the two countries have met in six official matches since 1973 with Burkina Faso winning three, drawing one and losing two matches.
Their last outing saw Burkina Faso register a 1-0 win over Congo in June 2013 in Pointe Noire.
Here is how they line up.

Burkina Faso: Sanou, Yago, Goua, Koffi, B. Kone, Nakoulma, Kabore, R. Traore, D. Kone, Pitroipa, A. Traore.
