At least two Mamelodi Sundowns players saw their moves away from the club fall through, however, several others will have to return to the fight for game-time from now until at least January.
As reported by the Siya crew during the final hours of the transfer window, Cape Town City were looking to bring Ngoma on board at the club on a season long loan deal, however, Sundowns rejected their bid, with the player set to continue at the club until, at least January. However, Ngoma has not made any appearances for Sundowns since December 2018.
Jose Ali Meza:
Meza has in the past been linked with a move away from the club, however, nothing was said about the player’s immediate future in the transfer window that has past, with Meza also falling massively out of favour at the club.
Mohomi once again was unable to make the move away from the Brazilians in the July/August transfer window, despite SuperSport United being keen on signing the player. The midfielder’s last appearance for Sundowns was in January this year.
After returning from his loan stint with Bidvest Wits, the Brazilians confirmed that the player will be exiting the club, however, according to Siya sources, he is yet to receive his clearance.
While there has been no talk about any movement for Oupa Manyisa, the player has seen very little game-time since joining the club. Manyisa is yet to make an appearance for the Brazilians this season, after featuring just seven times in the 2018/19 campaign.
