Mamelodi Sundowns have a decision to make on one of their stars who recently penned a three-year contract with the Brazilians.
As reported by the Siya crew in edition 1255 of Soccer Laduma, Downs have tied junior international Thabo Moloisane to a three-year contract with the club.
The Downs development product, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Cape Town All Stars in the GladAfrica Championship had been on a junior contract with the Brazilians – but was garnering interest from a number of teams who had been tracking his progress.
However, out of fear of losing the player, Sundowns handed him a first team contract.
Now, the latest news reaching the Siya crew is that Downs are looking at potentially sending the 22-year-old out on loan to a DStv Premiership outfit where he’d be best placed to further his development.
As things currently stand, the Downs right back berth is heavily occupied with the likes of Thapelo Morena and Sailor Mudau the club’s main options, while they also have Nyiko Mobbie and Nicholus Lukhubeni, both who are currently on loan at Sekhukhune United.
With 18 days to go before the transfer closes, it remains to be seen whether Downs will manage to move the Tshwane-born star to the topflight before the window slams shut.
