With just a few months left before many Premier Soccer League players will see their contracts come to an end, Mamelodi Sundowns will decide on the future of one of their key defenders.
Former Ajax Cape Town captain Mosa Lebusa is currently in the third and final year of his contract with Masandawana, but has an option which the club could exercise the two-year option, considering he has been one of their best performers this season and has been consistent since joining the Chloorkop outfit from the Urban Warriors.

Lebusa, who has scored one goal this season for the DStv Premiership leaders, has won two league titles since joining Sundowns, as well as the Telkom Knockout and Nedbank Cup. He missed nine of the first 10 league matches this season, due to competition and a hamstring, but got an opportunity to play regularly since the start of 2021 and has not looked back since, contributing to six clean sheets since January.
The 28-year-old from the Free State has now played 12 matches in all competitions and is playing a key part as Sundowns look to conquer both domestically and on the continent. Sundowns' Legal and Commercial Executive, Yogesh Singh recently confirmed to the Siya crew that they have finalised deals with most of their senior and they look set to hold onto Lebusa for at least another two years.
