Mothobi Mvala is yet to make an official appearance for Mamelodi Sundowns, though the player is aware of what he needs to do in order to get game-time in their star-studded squad.
The 26-year-old joined the Brazilians from Highlands Park at the end of the 2019/20 season and is one of the most highly-rated midfielders in the PSL.
The likes of Hlompho Kekana, Lesedi Kapinga, George Maluleka, Andile Jali, Rivaldo Coetzee, Grant Margeman, Tiyani Mabunda and Aubrey Modiba all make up the numbers in the middle of the park for the Chloorkop-based club.
However, Mvala is eager to find his place in the team and is aware of the responsibility that comes with it.
“I am delighted to be here, I am enjoying it and I got a warm welcome from my teammates and the technical team. The mood in the team is great and I am adjusting very well and with hard work, I will be where I want to be,” he said on Sundowns’ official website.
“I know that for me to play I must work hard and follow the instructions given to me by the technical team. I want to contribute to the team’s success and the only way to do that is to push myself. I want to win trophies with the team as that is the culture of the team and everyone can see that every season the clubs always win a trophy.”
