While there are often questions on where Mamelodi Sundowns signings will fit in, this season's new faces have raised their hands whenever they have been given opportunities.
Grant Kekana, Thabiso Kutumela, Pavol Safranko, Neo Maema and Divine Lunga have all been given a chance at the club, while Sifiso Ngobeni, who joined the club from Bloemfontein Celtic, is still waiting to make his first appearance.
Downs co-coach Rulani Mokwena explained that the rest of the team needs to take credit for the integration of new players.
"Hopefully we see more of them. It's kudos to the entire group. For the new players to integrate so quickly, of course you look at the environment that has been created by the players that we've had, welcoming them with warm hands and making sure that they are integrated into the group as quickly as possible and they are able to give their best for the team," Mokwena told the media after the side's 3-0 win over Swallows.
"They've worked hard to create this bondage and that element of trust, which is very important. We know why we recruited them and we know why we worked so hard to get them into the team and we've got to thank the chairman of the club and the management for backing and supporting us in the market and giving us quality players who have come in to improve the squad. All of them offer different things. We are still waiting to see Sifiso Ngobeni in time. We have to be patient with him."
