The question with Mamelodi Sundowns is who they are going to sign next, but there are those who are expected to leave Chloorkop, as confirmed by co-coach Rulani Mokwena.
Sundowns have a squad of about 36 players and, to bring in new faces, they will need to part ways with a few of those who are not breaking into the starting line-up or even making the bench.
Promise Mkhuma is likely to leave for SuperSport United, as reported by the Siya crew, while the future is uncertain for midfielder George Maluleka, who is waiting to hear if the club will exercise the one-year option in his contract. Sibusiso Vilakazi is also linked with an exit, though he still has a contract until 2024.

Mokwena explained that a decision will be made on who will leave the club at the end of the campaign.
"Do we expect players to leave? Of course. I think it's only normal that in every football club, the goal is to improve. And sometimes to improve means creating space so that you can bring in because we can't bring in with already 36 players and continue to bring in and hoard players. It will be the same process. We will combine our reports, submit them to the sporting director and the board, and then have meetings with the scouting department," Mokwena told media at Chloorkop on Thursday.
