“We will pray for the match officials on Sunday.”
That is another comment from coach Pitso Mosimane’s drawer ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns facing Kaizer Chiefs in a top of the table clash on Sunday.

He has been insisting for weeks now that Amakhosi are benefitting from decisions made by referees, but said he hopes that’s not the case when the two clubs meet at Loftus Versfeld Stadium for a fight to stay top of the table.
“Currently they are on good form and they are benefitting also and on the receiving end. They are enjoying the ride. We have to do what we have to do. We pray that the contributors don’t help them to benefit,” Mosimane said.
He added that he was not the only one that who’d cried foul about the match officials, especially during matches where Chiefs are involved.
“Benni was crying, I am crying and AmaZulu were complaining, Steve Komphela was complaining and even Owen (da Gama) was complaining. Who doesn’t complain? It’s a joy ride. We will pray for the officials not to make mistakes that they have been making. Referees are under pressure and we will complain. Maybe other coaches don’t want to say it because they are modest. No, we want to win the championship. When (Jurgen) Klopp complains it’s ok, but when it’s me people say this guy is always talking. No,” said. Mosimane.
