Pitso Mosimane was named December’s Absa Premiership coach of the month, with the Mamelodi Sundowns tactician underlining the importance of his technical team.
Mosimane was unable to collect his award yesterday, as he is currently with Sundowns in Angola preparing for their second last CAF Champions League clash against Petro de Luanda.
However, Mosimane did have a message to the football fraternity.
“Firstly, I’d like to thank the players, they are the ones who won the games. Secondly, I thank my entire technical team for the contributions to the games and support that they give me. Our program is a hectic program where we always find ourselves being involved in three tournaments in six or seven days and you cannot do it as a single person,” he said as quoted from Sundowns’ official website.
“Also, I must thank the Yellow Nation, who are singing their lungs out for the team. They contribute a lot. I must also thank the management, the board, the President of the club Dr Patrice Motsepe for all the support that they give to the team,” he added.
