Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane praised Rulani Mokwena for his maturity in handling the ‘hot seat.’
Mosimane was joined by Mokwena and other head coaches for the Telkom Knockout press conference, however, before it was the Sundowns mentor’s chance to address the media, he sat to listen to how his former assistant coach, Mokwena handled questions regarding his responsibilities at Orlando Pirates.
“It’s nice to come here early, it created an opportunity for me to sit in a press conference and just listen to this wonderful coach, so matured and experienced as if he’s been long in the hot seat,” Mosimane said about Mokwena.
“Sometimes it is humbling for me to be sitting and looking at the quality that comes out of Coach Rulani and I can say the same thing about Coach Kaitano.
“We have made so many mistakes in life working with the so-called students but then they come out in the industry with flying colours.
“I feel very good when I see this coming out, because for us to build a nation you have to build other people and support them and when they come out and do better than the way you have done, it is another story so those are things that makes me sleep well (at night).
“I’m sure Jomo Sono and Ted Dimitri can say the same about me,” he added.
