Oupa Manyisa has joined the list of injuries at Mamelodi Sundowns, with Pitso Mosimane confirming that he is one of three players who is on the ‘long-term’ list.
Oupa Manyisa is set to go under the knife after snapping his Achilles tendon and will be out for quite some time, possibly for the rest of the season.
However, Mosimane confirmed that it will also be some time before we see two other players back in action, while the positive is that Keletso Makgalwa has started running.
“At the moment we have three long-term injuries, Laffor, Tade and Manyisa,” Mosimane told the media.
“They are important players for us but they are not there. But we don’t complain. Keletso had a long one; he is now running which is good. Phakamani Mahlambi had a long one, when he came back and then it was time for Cairo. I was like – can he just play Shell Helix? I haven’t seen him for two-three months.
“So that is the difficult program,” he added.
