A Mamelodi Sundowns attacker has earned himself a new ride for the next month after winning an award.
Namibian international Peter Shalulile has settled in well since joining Sundowns from Highlands Park, forming a deadly partnership upfront with Kermit Erasmus and reigning PSL Footballer of the Season Themba Zwane.
He was voted the club’s player of the month for December and club sponsors Hyundai have given him a Hyundai KONA to drive for the next month.
Shalulile played in all three of Sundowns’ domestic matches in December, scoring in the 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy. He was also on the scoresheet when Sundowns beat Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy in the first leg of their CAF Champions League tie.
The 27-year-old has become one of the fan favourites since joining the defending champions and has certainly won over the technical team, featuring in all the league matches up to this point.
