Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed registering six more players for the 2019/20 season, news that has come after the transfer window was slammed shut on Monday night.
While Jeremy Brockie managed to beat the deadline and joined Maritzburg United on loan with minutes left before the Premier Soccer League closed registration, his teammates Aubrey Ngoma, Lucky Mohomi and Jose Ali Meza are back in contention according to the club's official website, though an intial statement had mistakenly said they were not. Others include Abram Ngcobo, Harold Majadibodu and Nicholus Lukhubeni.
It was reported last night that George Lebese has also been released and has become a free agent and Downs have since confirmed this, while Cape Town City attempted to try sign Ngoma back on loan, but Downs rejected their bid to do so.
Sibusiso Khumalo is another player to have been sent packing by the club after he returned from a loan spell at Bidvest Wits last season.
The window will open again in January and you can expect the above players to try and secure moves away from Chloorkop during that period.
