Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi felt the Brazilians dominated every game in the DStv Premiership this season, except one.
Sundowns secured their a record fourth successive league title after defeating ten-man SuperSport United 3-1 in the Tshwane derby on Wednesday evening.
The Brazilians were aiming to finish with a higher-points tally this campaign, but the coach feels that is out of their reach.
"Up until now there was only one game where we didn't dominate possession. That was the game against Cape Town City away. But we still won that game 3-0. All the matches that we've played in the Premiership, we've dominated.
"We are looking forward to the last three games. We have our own targets. We would have loved to finish the league with a different number of points. But we can still get close.
"We did not have Peter [Shalulile} and Gift [Motupa] today but we hope they are back for the last three games.
Mngqithi also urged the supporters not gather in large crowds at the stadium after clinching another title.
"I miss the fans singing. But the pandemic is still here and we can't afford to have people in congested areas. It's still very important to stay cautious and be responsible as a nation."
