Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that Pitso Mosimane will be without his right-hand man for a few days, as the Brazilians prepare for Highlands Park and another big game on the weekend.
The Chloorkop-based club confirmed that Sundowns assistant coach, Manqoba Mngqithi has been given a few days off from club duty to deal with a family bereavement.
“Statement - Coach Manqoba has had a family bereavement and has been allowed a few days off with his family. He has the full support of the Technical team, players, management, Board and the Club President. We wish him and his family all the strength during these trying times,” Sundowns said on their official twitter account.
Sundowns will get their preparations underway this week for both Highlands on Wednesday and their Absa Premiership clash against log leaders, Kaizer Chiefs and it remains to be seen whether Mngqithi will be back in time to be on the bench on Sunday afternoon.
